Let me share the very reason why I am here? But first, ask yourself, what do you desire, what do you want in life? Do you wish to be sad or feel unhappy? A simple answer; nay, I want to be happy and live a free life without adversity.
Flourishing Happiness - Walk with Me Against Stigma (WWMAS 2022). A champion sees and envisions egalitarianism and acceptance, an anti-stigma society.
Stigma is "real" and intimidating self-defeating thoughts. It hurts people as it affects one's social life; a lack of confidence and low self-esteem. It went into a vicious cycle of submissive tendency and losing faith.
Stigma manifests in people with mental health conditions. It undermines people with incarcerated issues, particularly people with substance dependency, as they exhibit negative psychological and physiological symptoms. Societal stigma hurts as it affects their social life. Many demonstrate the vicious cycle of submissive tendency, losing faith, lack of confidence and low self-esteem. How we look at behaviour patterns, a stigma unknowingly creates learned helplessness in their lives.
Many families and children suffer in silence. A study on the adverse childhood experience (ACEs) shows the detrimental effect we often miss is the children. The unreported numbers of silent sufferers who do not know how to seek help are more significant. These are the quiet ones and do not know how to express emotion or reach out to tell someone they are experiencing anxiety or distress.
I have this strong intuition of how people feel in the process of listening, learning, and probing their stories. I realised we want two essential things: to be free of adversity and happy.
